Account Management

Clicking on the Sign In button on the start screen will navigate you to the Sign In screen. 

Sign in

If you already have an account, sign into your account using your username and password.

If you need to purchase assessments select the option “Enable in-app purchases” by clicking the checkbox. When using the app to administer assessments, sign in with this option disabled.

Creating an account

Click on the Sign up link on the sign in screen to create a user account. You will navigate to the “Create account” screen.

To create an account, you need a unique username, a valid email address, and a password of your choice that is 8-12 characters long. You also need to review and accept the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and User Agreement by checking the boxes next to them.

Our system allows one account per email address for security reasons

Sign into your account using your username and password. To reset your password, click on the "Reset" link. To create an account, click on the "Sign up" link.
Sign up for a new Cognosketch account by providing a unique username, a valid email address, and a password. Read and accept terms of service, privacy policy, and user agreement.
Enter the verification code sent to the email address provided to verify your email address.

Upon successful creation of the account, you will automatically be signed in with in-app purchases enabled so you may purchase assessments. 

Reset password

To reset your password, click on the “Reset” link on the sign in screen. You will navigate to the reset password screen.
On the reset password screen, enter your username. A verification code will be sent to your registered email address.

Enter the user name of the account to reset password.
Enter the verification code sent to the corresponding email address and confirm new password by entering it twice.

Close account

To close your account, click on the “Close account” link on the sign in screen. You will navigate to a screen containing terms of closure of your account.
Review the information and tap the toggle button next to “I agree with these terms”. A proceed button will appear.

Click on the proceed button to authenticate the account. Enter your username and password. If you do not remember your password, follow the instructions listed under “Reset password” section above.
Upon authentication you may proceed with account deletion by clicking the YES button on the confirmation screen.

Upon signing in, you navigate into the main screen for your account.

Account Summary

To the right of the screen, you will see your account summary.  This summary will be updated every time you purchase, start or complete an assessment.

Click on the purchase button to purchase assessments or view history.

This button is deactivated if in-app purchases are not enabled on the iPad or in the app during sign-in, or if the app store is not reachable due to transient issues.

Clicking on the purchase button will navigate you to the In-app purchase screen.

Testing Center Information

All assessments performed on the current device will be associated with the information provided in the “Testing Center Information” section of the paid assessments screen. This information will be included in the final assessment report. 

Enter the location of testing for the current device. If testing at home, enter “Home” or any arbitrary name of your choice as Test Center Name.
Enter one valid email address where assessment reports may be received. This email address can be different from the email address associated with the account. 

A device used for performing assessments must contain testing center information to be able to start an assessment. This information will be saved for future assessments on the current device for a given user account.

Updating Testing Center Information

Clicking on the link “Update Test Center” will allow you to edit the testing center information.
