Data Handling
What data does the system collect and store?
GUEST MODE
- No data is collected in guest mode.
SIGNED IN
- Test Center Information is maintained per device used to log into a Cognosketch account.
- Purchase history is stored as a part of the account data.
- Your data sharing configuration that allows or prohibits sharing purchase data with Apple during refund processing.
- During an assessment, the app collects numerical measurements and data points as well as proprietary image representations of salient aspects of the execution of each task in the assessment.
All data captured is stored in and subsequently processed and analyzed by our backend server system.
How is user data protected and stored?
Data collected and stored is protected both in transit and in storage.
Data is transmitted by the app to the backend system on a secure encrypted channel. Stored data is protected by limiting access to only administrators and processors that analyze the data.
Is user data shared with third parties?
If data sharing is enabled for your account, in-app purchase details will be shared with Apple, Inc. during the processing of refunds.
No other third parties are privy to any of the data associated with Cognosketch Assess.
