Compatibility and Requirements
On which devices and operating system versions can I use the app?
Cognosketch Assess is compatible with most iPad models, including iPad Pro, iPad mini, and iPad Air, running iOS version 15 or greater.
Additionally, a single account can be used on multiple devices to administer multiple assessments concurrently, making it ideal for school settings and other organizational environments.
Which display modes and orientations does the app support?
The app supports both light and dark mode settings, allowing users to customize their viewing experience based on their preferences or environmental conditions.
It operates in landscape mode only.
Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
Offline Guest Mode
Cognosketch Assess offers a free offline guest mode, providing users with the opportunity to understand its purpose, explore its features, and interact with sample visual forms—all without needing an internet connection. Additionally, users can preview reported findings, which are part of the comprehensive report available upon purchasing assessments within the app. Some findings contain real data, while others are labeled as “available with paid purchase,” indicating that they are accessible only after acquiring assessments.
Online Mode
An internet connection is required to:
- Manage your account (sign up, sign in, reset password, close account)
- Purchase assessments
- Administer assessments
Is a stylus required?
While performing assessments within the app, we highly recommend using an Apple Pencil for optimal precision and performance. Alternatively, users can utilize any electronic stylus, regular capacitive stylus, or even a finger.
How often will there be updates to the app?
While we don’t have a set schedule for updates at the moment, we strive to deliver updates on a regular basis to enhance your experience with our app.
How will I be notified of updates?
When updates are available, you will receive a notification from the App Store on your device. You can also manually check for updates by opening the App Store, navigating to the “Updates” tab, and selecting Cognosketch Assess.
What can I expect from the updates?
Our updates may include new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to address any issues reported by our users. We are constantly working to make Cognosketch Assess better for you.
